Our Story

In the Spring of 2018, our Founding Partner, Tiasia, woke up in the middle of the night with an idea. Her idea was based on developing products to make it easier to community residents to collaborate with local governments and organizations for social impact.

“What if there was a marketplace for downtown revitalization organizations and municipalities?”. The idea made sense. Local officials, community stake-holders, and improve district leaders deserve more support for the work the do to keep cities livable.

After learning more about urbanization, and realizing that about 3 million people around the world move to cities each week, she realized the data made sense too. Many brainstorming sessions and late nights later, she launched Seam Social Labs, Inc. to support the very people who help us walk, commute, shop, and dine locally every single day.

Now, with a team and collective of bright minds, Seam Social Labs is on a mission to find dynamic ways to support the civic leaders of today for the cities and towns of tomorrow.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to create a marketplace that supports community and civic leaders in sustaining their communities. Our approach is to provide our partners with the technical skills, unique methodology, and innovative thinking that they may not have the capacity or resources for. We use a four phase methodology that breeds innovative strategies and concepts through social research methods, visual and parallel thinking methods, and collaborative brainstorming. Our work explores the “HOW” over the “WHAT” because there is no blanket solution to community challenges. Therefore, every partner will receive customized results that have an impact in their community.
